Morning from Idlib

Russian warplanes have been circling over Idlib since dawn. We can only hope that today passes without witnessing another massacre.

Jabalia reminds us of Aleppo in 2016, when the people sent their last messages as Assad's forces tightened the siege and made their advance.

Reportedly, Russian forces lost communication with two of their soldiers near Mount al-Bushri, south of Deir Ezzor, during a patrol in the area.

- 2 regime members were killed today. 1st, in an IED attack that targeted a regime armored vehicle near the city of Harra,north Daraa. 2nd was shot and killed in the city of Nawa, west Daraa by unknown assailants.

- Assad targeted the southern plains of Tafas with heavy machine guns this morning.
- Vehicles were seen conducting fortifications on the road connecting Tafas and Daraa.
