We should remember we were all dark skinned once. White skin, eyes and hair only evolved about 10,000 years ago as humans moved north. It's not an improvement, just an adaptation to help people in cold, cloudy climates get more vitamin D.
It's wild that a trait that evolved to help protect people in sunny climates from UV rays wound up being the root of so much hatred and violence. I suppose it's our tribal nature which is also seen in chimps. We should be more like bonobos, who are a lot more peaceful and matriarchal.
