Dovo after helping out a ninjask with her molting and letting her go seeing that she would rather be with other pókemon instead of becoming part of the team. "You were fstuck fast in that pupa, eh?" second panel: "Bon voyage!"

the ninjask exuvia / pupal shedding somehow gets inside one of Dovo's pokeball to their surprise. The pokeball then opens, revealing a shedinja

from left to right and top to bottom, Dovo holds the empty pokeball, surprised, confused and honestly, creeped out by this strange unnerving pokemon. "Is that the exuvia?" "is it alive?" they ask directly: "how did you?" the shedinja rotates lifelessly towards them, staring. Dovo: stay put for a second. They raise the pokédex to register the shedinga, muttering: I don't trust a pókemon capable of forcing its way inside a pókeball Checking the entry they show disbelief and laugh saying: No, no, I must have misread that. They check again. "Holy shit it's actually for real"

Dovo approaches the shedinja, visibly nervous and with a very forced grin, and boops it: "In any case.. you're also free! you can go and look for a family like Ninjask! what do you think about that? "

they stare down at the shedinja considering, Cosito simply emits a low, sad pokemon cry. Dovo immediatedly folds, knowing they wouldn't actually fight a pokemon that simply doesn't understand why or how it's doing things wrong and in a roundabout way, was born only because they were there. Dovo: "Alright, fuck it, why not?" Dovo: " you can stay with me, but we are going to stablish some ground rules... no more heart attacks

they cover the soul sucking hole of Cosito's back with a post-it, which is a great idea obviously. Dovo: now you won't have to worry about collateral damage. Cosito emits a happy distorted, ghostly pokemon cry.

The text reads: El Coso Ese (That thingy would be the english meaning) Shedinja -Will rotate to always face you, to prevent you from staring at its back, since that will start absorbing your soul accidentally. Oops. -It doesn't understand that comes across as creepy or why. -will pay attention to you habits and try to bring you things it thinks you like. -It's like a solid object that levitates very stiffly and unnaturally. It's literally incapable of ANY body language.

A very sleep deprived Dovo, holding a cup with shedinja looming behind them spookily. "huh? No, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've been getting the best fucking sleep." "That thing? nah, it's gucci, it's completedly harmless. It only follows and stares at you... ALL THE TIME... HAHAH... Hah... do you have lorazepam?" the second sketch is just shedinja silently following and stalking through the woods

Cosito hovers horizontally above Dovo, waiting patiently with a mug of chocolate milk. It has been waiting god knows how long immovile, so it's the first thing the trainer has seen after opening their eyes, which is not great. Dovo thanks Cosito in the next image as it drops gently the mug in their hands with their telekinetic ghost powers. Dovo sighs and after putting themself together they decide to adress the dead ghost husk in the room. Dovo: what do I do with you?

Dovo: you're so stubborn. It's clear that you don't want to go away. Dovo: And I guess it makes sense, I'm the only thing you know. ... I also appreciate the effort you put on like, not killing me. Would be inconvenient.

tysm!! it's been such a headache but they really needed one, and deffo having only flat colors wasn't going to cut it but only having it shaded would make people want to strangle me and rightfully so 😂

aw, yeah I can understand that, I do lean to the extremes one way or another but that would be pretty cool too, at least I think there are some examples of that in more indie stuff

A detailed reference drawing of Kinseviing, a blue and white dragon. The ref explains in detail every important part of the design and how to depict the metallic effect on their blue scales.

A flat colored version of the ref because I'm not a sociopath and there is a reason why people dislike refs that only have a shaded version.

A ref where all the plumage has been taken away so you can have an easier time with the anatomy and seeing where starts and ends the membrane crest that normally is hidden by the feathers.

A refference for the striped pattern.

Finally I made a reference for Kinseviing after.... who knows, it's been years 😅. I have an unshaded version, 'bald' version (feels like a crime but it's only to be able to see the anatomy better) and a reference for the pattern and scale plate placements #dragon #referencesheet #charactersheet #oc

Dragons as animals rather than people is perfectly fine to me, but these later years has been such a massive overwhelming trend in fantasy (to the point of going ruining archdemons in dragon age for no reason 😭) that I rly miss dragons as people.

but the law is not perfect, so hate-groups tend to disguise (not that KKK is here, Vox is). All I mean to say is that we do have issues, but they have their own local flavors and names and people are gonna be more than judged for open, mask-off extreme racism like that, we wont tolerate that shit

I don't remember that, rings a bell vaguely. It wouldn't end well for the KKK. Every country has work to do because racism exist everywhere, thankfully here you could be insulted or chased off for that clownery xD. Technically they can't legally exist here as well-

They can't breathe under water, they have a very average speed and the wings are a bit of a drag there, they're not built for it nor against it. Water brings me peace, it brings me joy, enjoying things you don't have a 'talent' for, for the sake of joy itself is freedom.

People tend to relate flying to freedom narratively, but I think that what represents freedom in Kinseviing is the fact that they love water and swimming so much, and the fact that they do this while not having any kind of aquatic adaptation or influence in the design. Theyre a fire dragon.

I still remember a college guy from USA PANICKING to the point of running and screaming (he is black, poor guy) and is not like we were pranking the poor fella we didn't know about the KKK (I was also a kiddo) or knew it existed today we couldn't give him a heads up. 😅
