Week three nearly complete of the Artist's Way. Took myself to the thrift as my artist date with a hope for perhaps some art supplies. Left with a wooden travel easel, half off too. Synchronicity.

Whoops, been off making more lil scrappy things to ease my mind for a hot second.
Leather Wild Rose Bolo ties combine all of my favorite things: hand painting, hand sewing, smaller scale, and wearable.
Brought a selection of art books for my students to look at prior to painting on leather. I never forgot to connect with books, flip pages and find new inspiration, but it was so much more impactful on all of us than I had imagined.
Honored to have taught my second class here in VA- I learned a lot, my art books got some love, and my students made incredible work. Feeling inspired for new class offerings too 🤍

Feeling ever drawn towards creating in multiple mediums. Facing it head on: bought some boards to begin actual paintings of the small sketches I have been furiously drawing at night. Layered each of them with a special blend of acrylic, medium and bits of color to lay the ground. #artsky #painting
