You post is a little disingenuous because the majority of the increased funds for ICE were already appropriated (not just budgeted) in the CBBB. So the horse had already left the barn. The Dems did negotiate some reductions and some improvements, so they wanted to at least vote for those.

It's nice you tell people this, but in the real world, ICE just does whatever it wants and no one is there to hold them accountable. We must find a way to give them consequences for their actions. They will be Trump's enforcers during elections. We need a way to stop them.

I think it is great that it takes 20+ men to arrest 2 innocent people. That is not sustainable. I do hope these innocent people are released quickly and that they sue for large sums of money.

But they do ALL these horrible things and no one seems to be able to hold them accountable. We have video evidence. We have eye witnesses. Where are the local police? Where are the state troopers? Where is the National Guard? We already know that DHS is not going to stop on their own.
