A watchful D.C. resident sent me a photo of something we haven’t seen in years; water flowing down the cascading fountain at Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park. NPS started work on the long-dry fountain late last year, as part of a broader project to refurbish the park.

It's important to remember that Viktor Orban lost to another conservative. Peter Magyar was once an Orban loyalist. This shows, as we are seeing elsewhere <<cough U.S. cough>>, that even those closely aligned with authoritarian-leaning ideals can see when the line has been crossed.
