Kaiju Con in Glasgow, and Dumfries, Somerset and Southampton Comic Cons all beg to differ!
But yes, you should arrange your own. Code Con?

without stating your age, post your favourite film released the year you turned 18.
Apparently, I’m an 80s dork. Which I can’t really object to.
Cover of Where We Stand, Where We Fall. Big moon in starry sky. Alien city below. Lots of blues.
Hector, a magnificent biewer terrier, reclining in his stolen Slanket.
It is two weeks until April 30th, when Where We Stand, Where We Fall is out! (www.hernebooks.com/product-page...) Also, here is picture of Hector who is also celebrating that day for he will be five years old!
Seems like that was the game that was needed at that time then! The rules-light nature of your Comics Code game is good for encouraging dialogue/discussion in games, instead of just the fighting side, which maps nicely against lot of modern books that are more about talking instead of fighting.
The other thing is that in a gig economy there is no degree that promises a good career anymore, not because you should have studied computer science or social media management instead of history or Russian literature, but because there are no careers
British? 2000AD? American? Uncanny X-Men

Day 2 of #conpulsion. Matrons of Mystery this morning, solving (despite some bad rolls, including a complete fail on the first “put it all together” attempt) the mystery of The Six Sherlocks. Lots of fun.
Then took the afternoon cos I am, frankly, knackered. I’m getting too old for all this fun.
Day 1 of #conpulsion. Ran Doctor Who this afternoon, which seemed to go well enough. 3 hour slot is a bit tight for the adventure!
Spent the evening watching Carrie: The Musical. It’s certainly a thing. Cast were great, just found it a bit High School Musical at times!
I’ll be there too, running a more sensible number of games.
Spotty Dog.
Given all them computers and all, I’d have thought NASA would be doing more than “expecting” their ship to arrive on time.
Much the same now, maybe fewer Russians!
And inside…
Hopefully the weather doesn’t get too much worse tonight, otherwise I guess we live here now!
The rows are slightly closer together than my legs like, but it’s comfy enough. And warmer than the sleet which is currently falling outside.
We’re watching Crime 101, Mark Ruffalo’s latest star vehicle. Reviews are good, so fingers crossed!
A mobile truck-based cinema that dots around the Highlands and Islands bringing films to the filmless. It’s been around since the late 90s, is on its 3rd vehicle (a temporary one, which is being retired next week, while they await the arrival of Screen Machine 3).

It’s been a while since the missus and I kicked off our quest to visit Scotland’s independent cinemas, and we’ve picked a funky one this time.
Ullapool, up on the northwest of the county, has a population of about 1500. It doesn’t have a cinema. But what it HAS got is:

The bit with the giant Cyberman trying to eat the Doctor must be from one of them thar missing episodes!
I reckon that dragon is going to absolutely shred that airship.
“now” and “not”. Hilarity often ensues when this reverses the meaning of a statement. “I am now/not happy” and so on.
Really enjoyed this one. Made me nostalgic, both for Deadline, and for @graemem.bsky.social and @jefflester.bsky.social’ long lamented Wait, What? podcast. Thanks for putting this one out there!
A good clear Session Zero will sort that out for you. Definitely. Probly.
And now that James has brought it to your attention, perhaps an email to the publisher telling them of your concern would be helpful. If enough people complain, perhaps they’ll turn to other methods of ascertaining the popularity of their books. You never know, eh?
As much as I enjoy running games (despite the stress involved in doing so), I’d hate to ONLY run games. Your mileage may vary.
