Ending my last writing session for the night. Just past 52k words in the WIP now.
I'm starting to wonder if I can finish this draft for the end of the month ...
That goal still feels a bit out of reach.
Another update: There are 12 pea plants.
Garden update: despite my ongoing war with the squirrels, they somehow did not eat all the seeds. I now have 11 pea plants sprouting.
I am suddenly wishing the squirrels got more of the seeds.
WIP is up over 46k now. I'd love to hit 50k for the end of the week. Just found out I need to do more work than I thought this week, though, so we'll see.
Finally got my admin stuff out of the way to realize that a deadline I thought was May 6 is actually next Wednesday, the 29th.
Glad I realized that now, not in a week ...

I am so upset right now, TikTok quietly added a feature which turns on an AI feature on all the TikTok’s you have already posted to allow Ai to remix and make content of your TikTok’s and I didn’t know, you must go to privacy settings on your TikToks to turn it off yourself, want to warn others 💔

Okay, WIP is up over 42k now! Trying to get some other tasks under control, but I'm clipping along otherwise.

It was mostly that my kiddo was home unexpectedly for 2 days last week. Otherwise ... these tasks would have been toast!!
It's almost done now!! But whew, it took forever!

Hit my word count goal for today, which also means I crossed the halfway mark of this WIP (40k words).

That brings me to 35k words. Hoping to make the halfway point tomorrow! But now I have Real Life stuff to do, like chores.

Oh! That's an interesting one. I spend so long finding a name that "fits" any given character, I don't think I'd survive if they changed it during the story! It has to feel "right" from the outset or I can't start writing.
