His little, yellow partner nods. With that, the two of them start running off together in a random direction!

Pikachu pouts... HE could also open doors on his own, if he wanted...

"Huh, that's awesome! ...man, we should have a battle soon! Pikachu against your Raichu, in order to test our mettle!"

"Woah... it's like I'm looking at some kind of glimpse into the future or something!

...and you're saying that THAT'S Pikachu? I... guess yours changed his mind, huh?"

Both trainer and Pokémon were stunned, but in a good way! Pikachu waves to his counterpart once introduced.

With another nod, Pikachu hops back onto Ash's shoulder and attempts to tell him everything.

"Uh-huh... mhm...yeah..?
