We desperately miss Liam Gordon. He was made an excellent offer but Motherwell offered him a better deal and he was keen on a fresh challenge away from Perth. Ryan MaGowan was a bizarre decision, happy to stay but wasn't offered a deal. He would be our best player this season.
It's too late now, investment was required in July.
Best we can hope for is a few decent players on loan or players that manager has identified who are happy to sign a longer deal on championship wages.
Steve Brown will be the fall guy for a few years to come for some fans. At what point do the current board take ownership & responsibility? They were left with a Premiership Club that required investment in players capable of playing at this level and haven't delivered.
Agree, we all knew how poor/weak squad was in July and owners didn't back Levein. Appreciate Adam Webb is recovering from illness but where are the rest of the board, no word on plans to boost squad this month.
Yes, we're going down this season. Manager is clueless, needs to realise first 20 mins is about battling to win control of the game. Winning personal battles, 50/50's etc. to earn the right to compete. We're soft, not one crunching tackle in the whole 90 mins. Team of losers.

Next 2 home game v Hibs/Dundee will have a huge impact on our chances of survival. 4/6 points and an improved squad in Jan will give us a chance of staying up. Dundee have a tough set of fixtures in January inc Celtic x 2 & Rangers.
Relegation now looks inevitable, even if 4/5 players come in the January window. The standard of player we can attract with our budget means it will be a miracle if we can turn the current situation around. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.
Relegation would be a disaster for Saints and it could take years to return to our current level. We're only 2/3 players short of matching most clubs in the league and a mid table finish. If we had signed a suitable replacement for Mitov in August we would 5/6 points better off at this stage.
The path is clear , rejoin the EU and become a republic #ScottishIndependence
Pre late 80's Europe was a level playing field for all the teams. Utd/Aberdeen were able to beat Barcelona, Real Madrid & Bayern. Eastern European also did very well. How good was football before TV money 😁
When football was a level playing field financially across Europe & Uefa, Cup Winners & European Cup competitions were all straight knock out.
Unbelievable to think that both Utd & Aberdeen reached Euro finals with teams consisting of Scottish players.
🏴 Scottish Parliament constituency polling by Norstat:

'The problem that this Budget cannot address, and which no budget could ever address in the current Scottish political settlement, is the fact that the Scottish Government has been set up to fail by Westminster.'

Intrigued by this afternoon's match. Been impressed with Saints under Valakari. Wee preview below. No idea what team Jimmy will pick.

3rd in the polls in England & Wales, hence the attempt to kickstart their plans for government today. Tories or Labour was a flip of the coin for the English voters, a fag paper between them.
Hopefully Matt Smith is back in the starting line up on Saturday. Despite all the positivity regarding Simo we only have 1 win in 5 with a tough away game v Aberdeen on Saturday.
UEFA are reporting that the Greece v Scotland Nations League play off match in March will be played at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskakis in Piraeus (outskirts of Athens). The capacity is 36,007.
If only he would have a shot at goal 😁
Missed opportunity against a poor Rangers side. Kimpioka always wants to take an extra touch rather than take a shot which is hugely frustrating.
Back 4 look solid, prefer Nielson at RB, with Wright further forward. Bozo up front last 5 and go direct rather than playing 5 yard passes in our half.

Helped Rae enormously too, won everything that came into the box. Vassel is a handful and he nullified his physical threat, excellent debut.
