Slicing up a prototype of "The Nights of King Ludd" for unguided play testing this week (and humming this little song).

Soc-dem propaganda
With the one on the left, my ACW collection has almost reached the (current) end.
I blame @fredserval.bsky.social Homo Ludens « We Intend to Move on Your Works » podcast by @drcrossbows.bsky.social & @pierrevj.bsky.social
The one on the right is because I am a completist and just love GCACW!
It's just "Norway", Denmark is not a real country. Ask the designer, he will confirm.

Fury of dracula 5th ed cover. Has dracula on it, shockingly enough
I am an advocate for solo board gaming, but not every game needs a solo mode. Seeing people complain that Fury of Drcaula 5th edition won't have a solo mode and all i can think is
No shit it won't
There are so many games and so many solo modes these days, just get over the odd game not having one.
I make an average of 1 unboxing of a game I haven't designed every 8 years, so when I make one, you know the game probably looks good:

No idea, sorry.
That's a cool review, thanks for sharing James!
Looking pretty hard at this comic crowdfund! Not read Bablet before, but damn, this book looks gorgeous

It's the best comic I read last year, bablet's work is always great, but I have a specifically soft spot for this one. Happy to see that it will be translated in English.
It is time to vote for the best historical game of 2025. Last year Golden Luddite winners were: 1812 Napoleon's Fateful March from @vucasimulations.bsky.social, Pax Penning from @mildamatildagames.bsky.social and A Gest of Robin Hood from @gmtgames.bsky.social

It's been a crazy time as the new creative director at Leder Games, but I'm settling in. In fact, I am delighted to announce a major typographic improvement to all of our games, past and future: We will be changing our official font to Papyrus! Can't wait to share even more innovations.
New phone, who's this?
Un jeu toujours aussi sympathique !

Cannes Gaming festival is quite fun
Big shout-out to the crew of @fredserval.bsky.social Homo Ludens “We Intend to Move on Your Works” podcast: @pierrevj.bsky.social @drcrossbows.bsky.social and Alexandre.I have literally devoured all the episodes in my commute in the past 2 weeks and greatly enjoyed the discussion. Can’t wait 4 more!
So yeah, that's unethical and also super cringe. What I like to do is a punctual "purge", I give games away to people on my discord, I just ask for shipping costs, and sometimes I travel with batches of games to cons to give them directly.
