A shimmering cascade winds through a city of radiant domes and spires all rendered in gold. Eventually the concentrated stream dissipates as it exits lower right through an ornate gate of intersecting arches. Descending from high, an animated string of human figures, varying in sequential poses, vanishes down into a large jeweled window atop the largest dome. Across the dome's facade a nonsensical string of symbols floats (a dove, padlock, ammonite, hourglass, rowboat, starfish, etc).

not since lost seasons 1-3 has a sci-fi show gripped me like paradise. i don’t mean it’s the best, i mean it’s shifting of the status quo is just as refreshing. ala the flash sideways elements in lost s4

seeing people hate on star trek the incorrect way is soooo irritating. there are certainly things to criticize about nutrek but some of you don’t even get old trek so why should i give a fuck what you’re chatting about

i hate a fiscally conservative socially liberal ass bitch STFU and don’t mention star trek again

not sure what’s more idiotic: the fact weir thinks there can be stories devoid of political/social commentary (incorrect! not true!) or the fact that he thinks “not having a point to make” makes for an entertaining read.
