Thank you so much to everyone who voted 1 for Legalise Cannabis this election, and also to those who gave us a preference. It can take a little longer to get a total senate result, and now we wait.

I am so grateful for your support!

Just saw liberal leader Brad Battin at the pro supervised injecting room rally.
He quickly left when he realised he was at the wrong rally and raced off to join socialist mayor Jolly #endthewarondrugs

Just read this piece by Craig Hill, a former prison officer and current Legalise Cannabis candidate for the Federal seat of Bonner in Brisbane.

Craig shares his personal experience of witnessing young people being incarcerated for cannabis possession.

I didn’t know the VIC Police were such supporters of the 420 cannabis reform movement. Here with at least 45 members and giving up their Easter Sunday to fly the flag 🚬

The industrial hemp market is worth $18 BILLION!

Victoria plants around 200 hectares of industrial hemp a year worth almost $500k.

It won't get you high, but you can build houses, make flooring, make pipes to replace PVC, and it's energy efficient!

Victoria, cut the red tape!

ASH welcomes progress of historic smoking bill - ASH Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) is a campaigning public health charity that works to eliminate the harm caused by tobacco.

Here is how other countries successfully reduce smoking and maintain a legal and regulated market. No fire bombings or organised crime. Vaping devices are sold in licensed stores but also provided free to adult smokers by anti smoking orgs and funded by govt.

Australia’s vaping laws are a disaster! Banning nicotine vapes has fueled the illicit market, while medical cannabis vapes remain unaffordable & out of reach for patients. Harm reduction is ignored in favor of prohibition. It’s time for sensible regulation!

Bigots face up to five years’ prison after stalemate over hate laws ends The long-awaited reforms will make serious vilification offences – such as the such as incitement of hatred or physical threats – punishable by up to five years’ jail.

It took over 5 years but finally Vic Anti Vilification Laws that protect people on grounds of disability, gender and sexuality passed. There was shenanigans from the Greens and Libs but the Bill that passed was largely the same as the one I introduced in 2019

Heading to regional Vic today where cannabis use is nearly double that of metropolitan regions. And maybe not surprising support for the Legalise Cannabis Party is also some of the highest in the state. They are our connoisseurs of cannabis.
