The #BiomesOPlenty Add-On has been out for a week now on the Minecraft Marketplace, and we're absolutely blown away by the reception it's gotten so far!
This is only the beginning, and 4KS Studios is hard at work squashing bugs and porting the remaining content from the Java mod!
A new update is out for the #BiomesOPlenty Add-On!
- Vanilla ores and stones now generate correctly in BOP biomes
- Mob pathfinding behaves better with BOP plants
- Settings to toggle leaf decay/particles have been added
- The BOP biome you're in is now shown in the Guidebook

It will feature 53 Overworld biomes at launch, with the remaining biomes coming in free future updates! 4KS Studios has worked to recreate the biomes as faithfully to the Java mod as possible, with all of them being thoroughly tested and approved by us.
We're excited to finally announce that the #BiomesOPlenty Add-On will be releasing on the Minecraft Marketplace in just 2 months from today, on February 3rd, 2026*! It will be available to purchase for 1340 Minecoins.
