As I said in my op ed earlier this week: "We can’t call out the insurrectionists and authoritarianism in the White House as anti-democratic while refusing to call out the super PACs drowning out the voices of everyday working people."

Image of a news clipping from The New Republic with the headline "DNC Kills Resolution Condemning AIPAC Influence in Elections." The image above the headline portrays Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking to an AIPAC audience at a large venue."
As an elected DNC member who is standing up to dark money, I am disappointed that this resolution was not advanced. A watered-down symbolic gesture that refuses to name AIPAC, Crypto, AI, and the republican donors that back their super PACs, is not what Democratic voters are asking of us.
Democratic primary voters are becoming increasingly aware of how AIPAC, super PACs, and the billionaires who back them, are attempting to corrupt and control our politics. Read more in my op ed: www.chicagotribune.com/2026/04/09/opinion-aipac-election-funding-super-pacs/

I’m honored to have the endorsement of @delia.bsky.social in my campaign for the Chicago School Board. Serving as her District Director has been the privilege of my life, and I’m ready to bring that same dedication and leadership to the Chicago School Board.
Thank you for your work, your sacrifice, and for all the ways you have helped us continue to build a movement that is responsive to the needs of our communities. Onward!
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to @karinavillaforcomptroller for stepping up to run for statewide office so that we could lift up the voices of working people and our latino communities.
[2/2]…led by working class people raised up from our movement, and grounded in an unapologetically bold and progressive working peoples’ agenda. What we are building is a model for how we take back power from the oligarchs, Super PACs, and right wing authoritarians everywhere.
Our victories show what is possible when we unite to build a people-powered progressive movement that is deeply rooted in and accountable to the communities we represent… [1/2]
It’s PRIMARY ELECTION DAY!
Come out today and vote for progressives like Miguel Alvelo Rivera for State Rep. Let’s make sure we send a champion for working families to Springfield.
Remember: Polls are open until 7 PM.
Kristi Noem is fired. Good riddance.
But the fight does not end here. Abolish ICE. Dismantle DHS. Hold the fascists accountable for their crimes.
Early voting has begun! The last day to vote is Tuesday, March 17th. Find your early voting place at deliaforcongress.com/vote
DHS Secretary Noem’s days in public office are numbered. But as long as she holds office, and DHS exists, I will call out their bs.
We will not be gaslit. DHS will be dismantled.
Last night was about speaking up, calling out the authoritarian abuser-in-chief, and speaking loudly the names of the people murdered by Trump's fascist ICE regime. We refuse to be silenced because the state of the resistance is strong. 💪🏽
🚨We are calling out the corruption.
We cannot allow shady right-wing groups to buy Democratic seats in Illinois.
Look, if they don't like the comparison, maybe they should take off their hoods.

👏🏽 A win for Analilia is a win for all of us. In Illinois, we also have the power to stop AIPAC’s corrupting influence in our politics. In our March 17 primary, we can support progressive champions that will fight for working families.

@robertjamespeters
All across the 3rd Congressional District our coalition is out talking to neighbors about electing progressive champions at every level of government. We are supporting candidates that are meeting the moment, standing up to fascism, and centering the needs of working people.

All eyes on NJ!
Working Families Party leader @analiliafornj.bsky.social is on the cusp of making history.
👀
Trump promised us to lower the cost of groceries, but he’s only made cuts to healthcare, housing, and food assistance—leaving working class families vulnerable while his billionaire friends profit from our tax dollars.
👏🏽Congratulations Benito on making history and using your platform to speak out.
My Congresswoman @delia.bsky.social has a bill called Melt ICE. ICE must be abolished now.
Everyday, more Americans are seeing the lawlessness and violence of ICE in their community. They are saying “enough is enough!”
We must abolish ICE and hold DHS accountable. I am working everyday to make it happen.
Reform is not enough. ICE is an agency of cruelty and lawlessness that must be abolished. We can start by holding Kristi Noem accountable.
Solidarity means opposing imperialism clearly and without apology. We stand with the Venezuelan people, the Puerto Rican people, and all those fighting for self determination and collective liberation.
What is unfolding there is now impacting Puerto Rico. The island has once again been used as a military staging ground, with federal authorities restricting airspace and movement.
U.S. violence abroad never stays contained. It always produces collateral damage, and the intervention in Venezuela is already doing so.
As local elected officials accountable to communities shaped by displacement and state violence, we demand an immediate end to U.S. military operations, the lifting of coercive economic measures, and a return to diplomacy rooted in international law.
We reject Trump's abuse of federal power being carried out in our name and call it what it is: imperial violence that disregards human life and national sovereignty.
We, Latine elected officials representing Chicago's Northwest Side and surrounding suburbs, condemn Trump's military intervention in Venezuela.
