See this is kinda my point though. I am in a grand total of 2 (small) SL discords. I hang out in 2 afk spots and a friend’s club because that’s where my folks are at. I could have gone YEARS and never heard this info. So just because it’s available doesn’t mean everyone comes across it regularly.
I gotcha. I am admittedly pretty new to SL. But I think SL is spread so thin that acting like someone who may have been around a while will know something because it is “commonly” known is kinda wild. In the spaces I hang I could have gone years and never found out this info unless directly told
TBF. I am hearing about this for the first time today. Admittedly I don’t go to a ton of places in SL. (And don’t use any of their products). But assuming that people should know info just because it’s out there is silly and honestly kinda toxic to assume everyone is aware of the same things as you.

Check to see if you have a farmers market/open air market/market hall near you with produce vendors. You can usually get great deals on bundles of fruit compared to a normal grocer. Split them up into ziplock/sandwich bags and freeze them yourself! (Also works for meat if there are butchers too)

Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of the experience. SL exists as a vehicle to explore what you aren’t or can’t be and doesn’t force you to any specific path, experience or predetermined fantasy.

The cutest fur art I think I have ever seen!
I get the idea of not wanting to give your face away… but honestly your phone is saving it all the time as it is. If you have a smart TV a ton of them have behind-screen cams that watch you for data now. Every building you go into in the world is using fac-rec now. Your face is already had.
Honestly once you are on the ship you don’t even notice the water! They are so built up 99% of the time it feels like you are in a big resort/town.

Honestly it is quickly becoming THE reason I still get on SL. Working on learning to DJ too. But photog stuff is so fun. Gives me a reason to sim jump trying to find good sims for backdrops/settings. I meet new people. I get to be creative.
