More specifically, a post about myself, my writing, and how I refuse to let AI change the way I create art. Because there’s a lot of talk about how to do that as an author, and that is honestly pretty scary to me.

Every day, it feels like, something new emerges - a new way to tell AI-generated writing from real human writing. The em dash. The rule of three. “It’s not just X, but Y!” The concept of metaphors. All alleged symptoms of AI-generated text. What’s next?

I genuinely hate what generative AI is doing to art - and the people who create it - and I refuse to take part in this ridiculous song and dance.
