Not a very faithful remake, but a solid and fun action-horror game that looks gorgeous.
I really like this iteration of Nemesis, I just wish there was more of him.
I miss some of the stuff that was cut, but it’s still a very fun game imo.
Absolutely recommend, esp on sale~

I’ve been very excited for this album since I think Archspire makes some really good stuff, and I’m quite happy with the final release!~
Liminal Cypher is a great opener, Limb of Leviticus still fucks (but I already knew that~) and Deadbolt The Backward is really good!~

Sure, it’s not a lot like the OG (which I played a few years ago at this point), but I don’t mind the differences too much so far.
The thing with remakes is that if they’re too different, people go “Nooooo, it’s ruined!”
But if it’s a shot-for-shot one like MGS Delta, it’s also bad? Idk haha

She still believes in the lies about trans people she was told, and still holds out hope that the people calling her slurs and campaigning against her rights will somehow come around and see reason.
I’d feel honestly very bad for her if she didn’t… Y’know, actively campaign against people’s rights.

They only used the above arguments to convert non-Christians and (some) LGBT people to their cause.
Now that they got what they wanted, they no longer have to pretend that they’re fine with people like the author.
The worst part?
Even though this now *directly affects her*, she didn’t learn a thing.

But getting past that, the republicans that the author aligned herself with don’t give a shit about the facts of the matter.
If you confront them about it, they’ll always respond with “But god said.”
“God said there’s only men and women.”
And of course
“God said marriage is between a man and woman”

This argument pretends that trans women are taking *all* the spots on women’s sports teams, when that simply isn’t happening.
This gets a lot worse when you look at the proposed “solutions” for this “problem”, which includes things like letting people inspect everyone’s genitals, which is fucked up.

And finally there’s the “women’s sports” argument.

…Which is also provably false.
Trans women do not have an inherent biological advantage.
This argument is based both on the “men are always stronger” falsehood, and like three anecdotes that are repeated ad nauseam by grifters.

It’s an entirely vibes-based argument.

“You don’t want ‘biological men’ in the women’s bathroom, do you?” is basically all they have, which is both blatantly false and also puts trans women in danger by making them go to the men’s room instead.

Then, of course, there’s the whole bathroom debate.

If the people who argue against letting trans people use public bathrooms had *any fucking statistics* to point to to demonstrate that it’s harmful, they’d be doing it… Right?

But there are no such statistics, because it’s not harmful.

Then there’s the argument that says evil cabals of leftists are performing unethical surgeries on kids.

This is just some shit someone made up.

It assumes that you’re completely ignorant on trans people’s lived experiences, and will just listen uncritically when someone says this is happening.

The article pretends that trans people having basic rights means they would no longer be able to reject them, but that’s simply not true.
This argument uses lesbians as a cudgel to beat trans people with.

The problem is, if you do any actual research on these issues, or apply some critical thinking, you’ll notice that these are gross exaggerations at best and completely made up at worst.
