at the end of the day if for any reason I leave my current static I probably won't step foot in a savage/ultimate again because the experience this tier and getting into it has been.. less than pleasurable.

I love the game and community though, I just don't think the current game environment is-

yes I do agree that researching a fight is a helpful tool, however nothing will beat actually doing the content in order to "memorize the fight" you can watch povs all you'd like but not everyone will learn on povs alone. and you shouldn't shame people for not under-

for one, especially with how long the game has been out its hard to find a group (even on NAUR) that is willing to take someone fresh/green even with earlier content. and the few groups that do then aren't really satisfied with how fresh those people are and become passive aggressive/ kick them due-

i think one of the things that people don't really talk about in the ffxiv community is how hard it is to step into the hardcore raiding scene as someone fresh for multitude of reasons so what i'm about to say doesnt mean i hate the game or the community but just observations/sharing my own struggle
