Watched the early apocalypse SF film The End of the World (August Blom, 1916) last night and I highly recommend it! The scenes of destruction are very well made and still effective. The cinematography is wonderful, and there are lots of evocative images that have real staying power.

One of the distinct characteristics of the capuchinbird is its call, which has been described as similar to a distant chainsaw, or a calf mooing.

Note the inflating air sacs along the throat.

Commenters have compared it to Owen Wilson's "wow." 😁
