OP response: it was an analogy comparing how Shaquille’s feet were not “old and leathery” in the 8th grade. (like they are now) to how Dryad’s saddle size cannot be used to judge its age and whether it is old and leathery or young and tender enough to eat. It was actually both an ingenious analogy as well as a funny one. But hard for some to understand apparently. Reply from commenter: joke or not, that was essentially the *reason* you got downvoted and your post omits it completely!
