Of course this song was really about Harrison's tie remark, but they changed Martin's gender in the lyrics to make that less obvious

wikipedia article stating "Britbox is a British over-the-top video on demand streaming service"
That's a bit unfair. I think it's a perfectly reasonable video on demand streaming service.

Did you go to Greenwich? I used to live near there it's a nice afternoon out
For me, the answer is boring: it's quiet. Linux shuts up and doesn't ask me to do stuff. I see a little thing in the corner indicating there are updates. I click it when I like. It's nice

Some stations have a short platform. Passengers are advised not to make fun of them.

I keep on getting very inaccurate songs stuck in my head. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas... it's not; it's April. I'm Every Woman... I'm not, I'm not even one woman.
YouTube video thumbnail, the title is Was Link's Pink Hair Really a Mistake?
I hope it's because the artist mistakenly thought the game was called Pink to the Last
I'll say it, I'm against histamines and - sorry if this is un-PC - don't think they should be able to hold government positions
Hayfever absolutely kicking my butt this year. I feel like I have a cold but with none of the fun of passing it on
Words Place on Earth lol
Actually, another thing you can do is look for the canary in the coal mine. The part of a social media platform where if it falters, that's when you know it is truly doomed. It's furries, by the way.
The best you can do is find a place where you look around and go "this'll work" and hope that lasts for a bit but have no expectations. What's normal now is for social media to be highly fragmented. BSky isn't dead, it's one of the many fragments.
People now have seen for themselves how fast something can completely get ruined, and so it would be absolutely absurd for people all to collectively just move onto another thing and assume that's the new forever platform.
We're used to social media platforms as these big monoliths, these sort of immovable objects. But since Twitter became the Words Place On Earth that's not really true anymore and I think it won't ever be true again, or for a long time.
People have been saying BSky is dead since it started, while the people on it have just been getting on with it. I get why people say it, beyond being just people who the platform rejects.
But more recently I came to understand being an Actually Good generalist, as in someone who can be put on a wide range of tasks and do a proper job of it is its own kind of ability. And you learn to spot the people who think they're that but... fake, actually. They remind me of LLMs.
I do think this applies to generalists as well as specialists too, though. For the longest time I was sort of jealous of people who had one skill they had focused on because I felt I would never have that kind of focus ...
This is kinda true. The best people to ask for advice aren't the people who are experts and really deep in it, but people who have gone through the process recently and so haven't had time to develop niche opinions about it and also for whom the pain points are very fresh

SORRY IM SHOUTING THERES QUITE A LOT HAPPENING AT THE MOMENT
A digital painting of a floating knight wearing a crusader helmet and chain mail above bare, dead feet, carrying a rusty sword in their hands, in a bog. The sun rises behind them, silhouetting the other rusty swords sticking out of the water.
A digital painting of a middle aged woman with a wavy bob wearing plate armor and a bright red cloak brandishing a spear atop a ceratosaurus: a blue feathered dinosaur with a long tail and two horns atop its beak, spit flying around as it screeches at the sky from the top of a waterfall. They are lit by a sunrise, birds flying around tall mountain peaks in purple and orange hues.
A digital painting of a gigantic rock figure covered in fir trees sitting on the edge of a cliff, seemingly taking a break. In the foreground a human with pale skin is sitting on a bench, taking a sip from their water bottle and checking the map, mirroring the pose of the rock figure. They are backdropped by a blue sky with soft clouds.
A digital painting of a Black adventurer with their wavy hair in a high ponytail, wearing a purple cape, green waistcoat, and beige pants standing in front of a circular golden entrance holding up a lantern. A curious fox slaloms around their legs, while a small goblin in a purple jacket, a tall pink hat, and a belt full with letters stands in amazement, hands before their mouth and eyes wide. They have discovered a vault in which the candles on the candelabras are already lit, and is chock full of books, book cases, and curious items such as an owl skull with gems for eyes (one has fallen out) and an armillary sphere atop a pile of books in the foreground. Papers are scattered across the floor, and there's a mysterious air around the place.
