The music for the ceremonies at the Capitol in honor of President Carter has been beautifully chosen and performed. From the US Naval Academy Glee Club singing the Naval Hymn, to the brass ensemble playing Mon coeur s’ouevre a ta voix, it has all been of the highest caliber.
I love the Naval Hymn. “Oh hear us when we cry to thee for those in peril on the sea.”
Watching as President Jimmy Carter is eulogized in the Capitol rotunda. What a model for whom we should all strive to be.
