I don't know why people automatically think having artists go indie or only work with other indies results in a steady income.

I don't have a steady income because indies (in all fields) are financially struggling.
I can't lower prices when no one else is lowering their's to accommodate me too.

LRT I just watched the first couple eps of Witch Hat the other day and commented that it feels like being a young artist realizing you can make anything you want and share it with people to bring them joy

I love how Witch Hat Atelier captures the excitement of a young artist's first visit to an art supplies shop. Going to one when I was a kid does feel alot like being surrounded by magic in the making.

I'm the other way around, I got symptoms of carpal tunnel with my regular tablet, and a screen tablet feels better for my body.

But this is the point! As much as possible, try to get the tool that works for YOUR body. Just because screen tablets are fancy doesn't mean they're right for you!
