there is a sort of triumphant joy of unearthing a piece from 30 years ago which did not find its way, as of yet, into my hardback Venetian Spider Press volumes (which accounts for about 7% of my archived outputs). A line from this poem became a memory-worm, and I had to find it.

I see people say that to be a writer, you must be a prolific reader. This is provably wrong as I have seen the key is to have something to write about, ideally experiences or vivid perceptions. If readership were the key then AI LLMs would be the greatest writers. They aren't and never will be.
