Also, how did I manage to find art of an LNER Pacific in the US and it’s NOT Flying Scotsman

Ah, yes, that’s my favorite Thomas character
This is really where I thought you were going with the Zorran joke in Boats and Trains
My grandparents gave me a chunk of rail from *somewhere* when I was a kid; it is (like most of my childhood stuff) buried somewhere in my parents’ basement. I wish I had even the slightest idea where it was from.
It was two days before Christmas
A prewar 226E that has been passed down to me through the generations. It hasn’t run in roughly 25 years, but I have done my best to at least keep the loco in good cosmetic shape. One day I’d like to be able to set up some track and get her going again.
Only legends will understand the connection between these two items
Gordon and Harold are at odds when hurricane winds threaten the passengers. Presenting HURRICANE HAROLD!
Can I interest you guys in a story this weekend?
At last, the big day came
Alright, let’s give this another go
Welp…turns out my order had to be canceled for some reason or another, so fuck me I guess 🤷🏻♂️
Fun fact: this is the first Thomas-related thing I’ve purchased since 2007
Special shoutout to @firecooking.bsky.social for being the first person ever to draw “me,” even if I am about to have an actual tramper yeeted my way 😝
I'll be sharing another preview of my next project to members of my porter tier tomorrow at 9pm gmt

"They call me the Super E.D. and I looooove lasagna"
Series 5 - Super E.D. (Canned)
Happy Halloween Eve, everyone! Yeah there was no way I couldnt throw my hat into this ring, the moment he was revealed I know what I had to do lol
based on a BR Class 74, it's a shame he died :(
A new engine comes to cover for James, but is he really as “super” as he claims? Presenting SUPER E.D.!
Did something a bit different this time; both TV and extended versions included.

At any rate, I need to echo what I'm seeing a lot of other people say. This may be my choice for Super Ed's basis (and apparently a lot of you did the same), but it is NOT *the* basis. You are free to interpret him however you like.
I need to emphasize that I simply chose this basis for the story I’m writing (which should be ready very soon), simply because it gave me material to work with for my take on Super Ed. I doubt if this was David’s vision for the character—or if he even had a basis in mind.
Here are two photos of BR 74006, which was withdrawn early because it caught fire. Not sharing this for any particular reason whatsoever 😝
I’m doing it lads
I threw out *everything* from the draft except a few barebones things and I think I can make Super Ed work. First draft in progress now
And yes, I’m aware this subjects me to nuking lol
Super Ed was so crazy he made you all forget about OLIVER HOUSE
It’s all about presentation. The very basic, barebones concept of a diesel getting electrocuted is workable IMO. But the way it’s done in the draft is hot garbage, and virtually everything about it besides that singular idea has to be tossed.
OH NO.
In honor of Nintendo's "Mario Paint" announcement...
may I present a video I created on Mario Paint 29 years ago and finally edited last year:
Story prompt. The trucks are acting up as usual; when engine X has to arrange them, they do their standard “we want engine Y” bit. As it turns out, engine Y *is* available and takes over, leading to a civil war between the trucks who were making excuses and those who *actually* wanted engine Y
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Reverend Awdry's magnificent books that led to a brilliant TV series, I am pleased to share 27 newly scanned and restored photographs taken of the TV series models by model maker David Payne on the morning series 1 began filming.

Also appreciate that the ground collapsed pretty much IMMEDIATELY beyond the board in the pilot—in the final episode he’s able to travel a fair bit before falling
