Brilliant evening read from @comicstitan.bsky.social, releasing in stores on 26/5. This is one for fans of Buffy, Hellboy l, Supernatural and maybe a lil Scooby Doo action. Proper page turner of a demonic thriller. I look forward to more!

Credit where credit is due, editorial duties on this one fell to associated editor Cassandra Jones not Heather Antos. Hats off to both this bad ass duo for their work on Star Trek!
@neilvagg.bsky.social shares his first thoughts on #StarTrek Celebrations 2026, the brand new Pride anthology book releasing in stores on 27/5 from @idwpublishing.com. LLAP 🖖🏻

Brilliant issue to round out this arc and this run of #StarTrekLowerDecks.
Oh @timsheridan.bsky.social you cheeky scamp!
(N.B. This has nothing to do with me having just read Star Trek: Lower Decks #18… honestly… 🖖🏻👀)
This is a hugely transitional year for #StarTrek on top of the 60th anniversary. I planned to write a feature on the franchise but it became such a beast it’s now going to be a weekly series.
Here’s part one: To Boldly Go… Where? Star Trek at 60 and the Big Screen.
Just had a super early peek at IDW Crime’s Seven Wives #1. Zoe Tunnell plots a complex and tightly wound mystery with very unexpected and deeply personal undertones, all brought to life by V Gagnon, Maria Keane and Antonio Del Hoyo’s spirited artwork.
In stores 20/5 from @idwpublishing.com.
#Daredevil season 2 is a huge win for Marvel Television. An epic war for the heart of NYC spun over 8 brutal, stylish and consistently well written episodes. It embraces the legacy of Marvel’s Netflix era coming damn close to surpassing its high bar.
I could never hate you! It’s just not physically possible. That being said… I’m nervous! 🤣
SCREAM 7 (2026) Review
Neil says Scream 7 shows "a franchise searching for new meaning in unfamiliar territory" in his three-star review. In UK cinemas now.
Thanks, as always to IDW for allowing this Trekkie a sneak peek read. Full review coming soon.
Just three episodes of #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy until S1 is over. But @idwpublishing.com has us covered with a cool new series from @laynemorgan.bsky.social, Corali Espuña and Nora Serrano. Tapping into who these characters are whilst thrusting them into a tense away mission.
In stores 15/4.
Eeeek thank you for sharing my words! 👏 this series has been such a joy to read. I hope we get more Voyager storytelling from you ans this whole team 🖖🏻🖖🏻
Starting my Sunday with some blockbuster @ssnyder1835.bsky.social. Let’s see what #DCKO #4 has in store for us!

I will repeat, I'm not here to change anyone's mind if they don't like the show. But I am here to challenge mis-information about it. See below… 🖖🏻

For those who actually care about the real intention behind this week’s #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy then @trekmovie.bsky.social has you covered with a brilliant Tawny Newsome interview: trekmovie.com/2026/02/05/i...
The fact they’re peddling it as if it’s true is just wild. Shows the kind of audience they’re able to string along but there are genuinely people replying saying Brooks should sue the show etc.
True!
It’s bonkers. I’ve had people send me screen shots from the most famously progressive moments saying “prove to me Trek is woke without mentioning any of these”. The level of thought going in to trying to discredit the franchise is mad.
Exactly. You can imagine all those execs sitting around saying “let’s just steal his work” … and then put a dedication card to him at the end of the episode.
Basically the usual suspects are saying nobody on Starfleet Academy spoke to Avery Brooks about today’s episode and therefore “stole” a passage from his spoken word album without permission. But there is video evidence of Kurtzman saying Brooks was consulted about the episode.
I feel like I’m becoming a keyboard warrior but for actual good not weird right wing views. I keep saying I don’t care if someone doesn’t like a film/show/book just don’t spread lies because it doesn’t align with your world view.
I’m really trying to keep my Twitter alive for the sake of getting pull quotes out in the world. But there’s only so much of this 🐂💩 misinformation I can take before I toss my combadge out of an airlock.
These sites are peddling lies purely because Trek doesn’t align with their world views.
BATMAN (2025-) #6 Review
Batman #6 continues the series "blockbuster reinvention through stirring character depth and gutsy action sequences" says Neil in his five-star review.
A spot of Sunday reading from @dc.com. Releasing this coming Wednesday.
