For profit insurance companies should never have anything to do with Medicare.
Medicare isn't perfect but I've never been denied service or had to be pre-approved for services.
I do have Part D for drugs with Humana. They suck. They are the absolute worst insurance company.

Please don't sign up for Medicare advantage plans.
It's for profit insurance companies telling you what kind of care you will receive.
Humana will decide if it's an emergency or not if you go to the ER. Old people go to ERs more often.
