Feeling pretty overwhelmed about trying to find all my writer peeps over here in the sky …
Israel didn’t keep my family and community safe at Tree of Life. Tr*mp made me less safe and he “LOVES” Israel.
Oh my gosh! This conversation. These writers. These people. #swoon
Unworthy of love? Never!
This is what @iamragesparkle.bsky.social and I were talking about at @barrelhouse.bsky.social ‼️‼️‼️🤣🤣🤣
Two photos, one of my grandfather, a white man, in his WWII uniform, and one of a sword.
With gratitude to The Progressive and my local paper LNP, I give you a Rosh Hashanah downer that is, sadly, necessary.

My initial consultation is a 35-45min chat with a detailed follow-up email and concrete next steps.
Get in before my rates go up! Get in before it gets too cold to sit on the porch!
I don’t know how much time I’ll have as I finish my memoir, so, if you’re thinking about writing or publishing, be in touch! If everyone is always telling you “you should write a book!” be in touch. Know someone who could use a little guidance? We can sit on my porch&I can do virtual chats as well.
I was charging $100 for an initial consultation pre-COVID, but when the shit hit the fan, I dropped my rate to $50. I’ve decided that in 2024, I’ll go back up to $100 for an initial consultation and $50 for follow-ups.
I did a consult with a new writer today and was reminded how much I love talking to people about writing, stories, and demystifying the pitching/querying/publishing process.
A room with a window, a treadmill, and a walking desk.
New standing desk that looks like a teleprompter. I’m in love!
Best. Movie. Ever.
The amount of Slim Jim/beef jerky I’ve felt compelled to eat while writing about my childhood with my dad will likely be the thing that actually kills me. 🤣 #memoir
YINZ - do I have to read the first before the second? The second is up next on my TBR as I’m working on a memoir about my dad … thoughts? 🤷🏻♀️
The steering wheel and dashboard of a car with a bit of a laptop computer. Two trees are seen in the distance.
Last night, I wrote one of the hardest things I’ve ever written.
I’ve never written about this incident before (publicly or privately). It was excruciating. Necessary but excruciating.
So many memories of my dad are settled and fixed. Going over new/old ground is anything but. #memoir
Watching Law and Order SVU with my kid is so life giving. I don’t make the rules! 🙃🤷🏻♀️🙃

Buddy wanted to say hi to the sky! (Actually, he didn’t, I wanted him to say hi; he wanted to sleep.)
