He's something else. You know when the rabbit lure runs and they release the racing dogs? When I whistle, that's how he bolts for the door. I laugh watching him gallop

Only one cat can go outside. The other can't hear and gets frightened. Jasper is like a dog, patrolling the yard. He would kill baby bunnies for mice. He must stay away from the bunny. Plus, they carry fleas and ticks

He's been stalking them for days, it's time to herd the geese!
I'm shovelling in noisy rock, and the geese don't mind, but the cat doesn't like strangers, roosting in his yard.

Jasper is a geese-herder-cat.
He nearly ran when I whistled.

a man in a blue shirt is saying that he is not a smart man ALT: a man in a blue shirt is saying that he is not a smart man

It's not bad enough he's a tyrant, dictator, pedophile, rapist, felon, and evil person, he's also not the sharpest tool in the tool shed, but that's the kind of Tool, that Putin could use to weaken and divide the USA and isolate it from its former Allies. Fools as Tools, fools who voted for the Tool

And the soil is expensive too. So, I grew the tree as a hobby, I can't afford to keep them, if no one takes them, I plant on wild islands in summer

Good morning, I didn't have any hobbies when I retired. I dislike sports. I was looking for a discontinued type of apple and decided to grow my own. I have 1.5 acres full, orchard, and my hobby gets expensive. Right now, to repot just my Peach trees, will cost me, about $30. I have to drive,

They grow slowly and when you're too old to rake them, they leave nuts everywhere πŸ˜‰ well done!

It's usually too much that makes me kill them too. The healthiest ones, are the ones I forget to water. When they get spaced out, such as, some had to be repotted already, there's still frozen soil and ice outside. those are in the basement, but I don't go there every day. Others beside me in window

It's not bad enough, I have too many Peach trees, but one odd one, split the trunk early and grew two branches, so I cut them off and am attempting to make 3 trees, from one seed. I've made two trees from one seed before. 3's a challenge. I'll see.

Have you tried watering them? πŸ˜† Morning Uwe, I don't have 100% success rate. I've got a struggling plum seed with three leaves that looks like I'll lose it. I have to stop watering it for a few days. Seed-to-tree is easy after the first time

Every time I see a large south-facing storefront window, I offer them a plant. I gave away all my giant cactus that way. They look good in small shops, and they thrive well. Most shop owners take them home anyway, but I grew them as a hobby, not to keep. I keep only 10% of what I grow 🌱

Many other nations are fooled repeatedly by the USA & CIA experiments gone wrong. The USA never does anything good in another country, where again, they don't belong. There's probably a lot of reasons, Iran should be stopped. But by mentally capable leaders with all diplomatic means first,

I've been giving away Amaryllis 🌱 and hoping to get some different types, to cross-pollinate (breeding experiments)
I don't remember the colours they said, but two people gave me new colours, and one was just as stubble two days ago, and it's 4 inches tall now. Where will I put them all?

How come no other country in the world, feels compelled to do what the USA did, and cause a regime change, in a country oppressing its people, murdering and kidnapping them, and keeping the world in turmoil by changes that make the felons rich? #RegimeChange #USA

a dump truck is being loaded with dirt in front of a white house ALT: a dump truck is being loaded with dirt in front of a white house

Again, I've been snafu'd. There were two garbage trucks. One was for big items (the one I saw) and the other for bags, and I missed that one. Recognized the driver too. But, I better be sharp, I've got two truckloads of gravel and stone, coming today. I put up signs, in case I miss it, where to dump

I was telling my neighbour about my wife and her bear interests. She purposely wants me to find bears for her. So, I drive her all over hell's half-acre, and into sanctuary lands, I have to stop and take out my camera, or we'd miss the shot all together. She's never ready. I'm driving & getting some

Still honeymooning? πŸ˜† I never wore mine until I retired. I mean, I put it on at home, on shore but left it there, when I went on ships. It won't pass the knuckle again. I remember when it came off so easily, I lost it in a jar of hand cleaner (greasy paste) I think she's a keeper, eh?

A wedding band necked on the finger (tight fit) at the knuckle

I don't think my wedding band will ever come off again.

Looks like, after the short half-century trial-period, we're going to have to stay married. πŸ˜† Seriously, my finger has shaped around the band, and it's never coming off again.

I never wore it in the Navy, you'd lose the finger on ship.

I know exactly what time it arrived, because I have an important phone call to make at exactly 7:30 and I missed it out talking. It was 8pm, just getting dark, and it hopped up from the ground on my gate. Sat for 3-5 min, then hopped off. It appeared half the size of a crow, bigger than a dove.

I'm PO'd that I didn't have a camera. I'm always in headphones ,but the phone doesn't need to be in my pocket. I'm digging, moving items, I'd break or drop my phone. So, we're sitting in the van chatting & watching this strange bird with the long tail * from my view, not the face of an owl but Hawk

All these trips to the dump, and I forgot today was garbage day!!
I didn't put anything out. The trucks have probably started by now, I don't think I can rush

I'm not a birder but I was amazed to see one of these. I've only seen about half-dozen owls in my lifetime, in the wild. And I saw one of these 2 nights ago. It sat on my gate, I didn't have my phone, I was talking to a friend, and we were both guessing what kind of bird it was? I watch for it now
