When it's officially spring sothe magnolias start doing their thing. I didnt grow up with much; there is a part of my brain that every year smells this and thinks of expensive perfume.

Trying to do grad school assignments at the end of the term really is like trying to force my face against a hot stove.
Even after setting up all of the formatting and research of my final two projects I have only successfully made it through half of each project at a snails pace.
Time to pause.
My journey to be a omen continues.
Can confirm with two curled dog butts.
I can cross two this off of my list for this year. Seeing Amigo the Devil, and The Builders and the Butchers.
While I may be struggling right now it was nice to listen to munitions who have been on my Playlist for years and hear their thoughts and words as they played music from the heart.

Oh and Velcro dog number two has been taking turns between me and my partner. It's a full time job.
I went camping this weekend. Miso has never been a lap dog in the 15 years I have had him; even as a 6 week old puppy (yes. Gifted to me far too young) but he is a leg dog. I have been home for a few hours and I'm covered in dog fur. Velcro mode activated. Nothing competes with this kind of love.
Enjoy my contribution to the pool of images of Joanns that have been resurrected as Spirit Halloween in 2025. #Spirithalloween #ripjoanns
Made myself feel lost and small (Happy first day of Bi visibility month and Labor Day). 19 miles in Silver Falls National Park. When I arrived, there was no one; when I left, the lot appeared to be hosting a large family reunion? I hope they had a good day, too.
It's this kind of day. I went to the gym, and now im making a giant put of chili and some cornbread. The summer is blues season for me, so now that the temperature is drifting back below 80s, I'm starting to feel alive again.
That sounds like a great day :-)
Small town culture is accidently arriving at the thrift store 5 minutes early and witnessing the soul crushing culture that is watching the store employees get absolutely robbed by 20 people who have been waiting for the store to open.
Goodmorning
still here. Silly little non scale victories is showing up to be the most goth person at the gym because not only does the once upon a time too tight body suit fit bit so does your favorite hoodie from over a decade ago. #fitgoth #gymlife
Meh, maybe they want to be there but have social anxiety. Really, it's none of my business as long as they aren't disrupting anyone else.
Picture of a park with green fields and trees. There is a Crow sitting on a chain link fence next to a sign that reads "no dogs allowed in park"
I'm not saying I have been favorited, but the weird stray finds me every week day, and after a couple of years, I wouldn't change the awkward walks we have.
The critical part to remember is this:
These people do not define pornography the way you do: they mean LGBTQ+ representation, they mean sex ed, they mean Netflix, they mean literature, they mean video games, they mean healthcare, they mean political speech.

Still here.
Trump administration opens half of National Forests to logging. An emergency order lifts protections on over half of U.S. Forest Service lands as the Trump pushes to increase timber production.
I respect that, and honestly, I annoy myself, too.

Image depicts a giant 3 inch house spider one 1 by 4 piece of wood.
She's beauty, she's grace, she's the epitome of... well, she's a contestant for the largest giant house spider I've seen while moving the wood pile. Excuse me, ma'am.
Last year, this took me nearly 11 hours. I was under trained and only a few months off of an emergency surgery, but my only goal was to complete. This year, I just wanted to finish faster than last year, and I did! By well over 2 hours! #mammothmarchoregon2025
It's the morning of the Mammoth March in Oregon. So be prepared for the next couple of days to just be pictures of waterfalls and Oregon trees from my time hiking 20 miles to blow off steam during grad school spring break #mammothmarchoregon2025
Still here. Here's the odd one out of the crows I feed. It never makes any sounds when it finds me just lands very close. Patiently waits. Gets peanuts. Most of the others like to make a ton of noise to tell each other I'm around.
