True, it feels like GW Claude jumps through so many bizarre hoops to where he ended up.

it still feels insane that his entire feud with faerghus/the church started bc of some rumors a few knights were talking to minor alliance lords. then the stuff w sreng, his moral gray arc ending abruptly, etc

even Claude I think had a lot of good things in this route before they tried making him too similar to edelgard. him gradually crumbling under the alliance’s old system before deciding to burn it all and make it a kingdom instead and gets somewhat lost in that power was a really fascinating setup

golden wildfire has a lot of good things going for it unlike AG imo, it just massively fumbled its climax/ending 😭

all the deer being consistent to themselves (outside Claude) and the changes and lore it gave to the alliance which was pretty neglected in 3h vs the kingdom and empire was peak

It’s funny they made leonie so much gayer in hopes (source: Hilda support) and a GW paralogue is literally just Shamir dealing with her toxic ex girlfriend
