As expected, people are PISSED their loved ones died for nothing. That's one problem for them, there's several others. The Witnesses cannot sustain themselves as a religion, and the Watchtower cannot sustain itself as a business, and their irrelevance is guaranteed.
No transfusions, no donations, no platelet count, nothing. Thousands of people have died from their blood policy, and those who thought the deaths of their loved ones were God's Will are now being told it's a "personal choice".

In Europe, as much as 80% of Witnesses are 65 and older. Most of them converted in the 80s and 90s. Its more diverse in N America, but likely around 60% are 65 and older. Five million Witnesses will die of old age in the next 15-20 years, without replacements.
The Watchtower (Witness Vatican) claims there are about 9 million Witnesses in the world, about 7 million in Europe and N America. Most witnesses are converts (they only have a 15% retention rate of their own children), and most of those converts are OLD.
The only places Jehovah's Witnesses seem to be gaining ground are poor and rural places in Africa, where it seems to be based on direct aid more than deep belief (an old pattern). Even with that, it's not enough.
In Australia, they have suffered several legal losses regarding their shunning policies and the way their organization handles abuse (it's terrible). They have consolidated dozens of Kingdom Halls in the Western world because they don't have enough people to fill them.
Some good news: Jehovah's Witnesses are dying as a religion, and recently it has accelerated a lot. They have changed several "laws" in their organization recently, like blood transfusions and beards, to try and keep people. They have stopped going door to door in many places.
