Starmer sends 'chill' through civil service, union boss says The 'chill' follows the sacking of lead civil servant at the Foreign Office Sir Olly Robbins by the prime minister.

Starmer sends chill through Civil Service?
In the same way he sent chills through everyone as he abandoned his leadership pledges one by one.
Starmzy should never have happened to the Labour Party
It's time for the politics of hope + decency

A detail everyone is ignoring or forgetting.

Peter Mandelson masterminded Keir Starmer's reshuffle days before the scandal broke.

That is, while he was the US Ambassador.

This seems like quite an important detail!

This is...idiotic. Yes, she's cruel, her Theresa May tribute act is inhumane. But to say "I want to taser and deport the people you mentioned lol" is idiotic. She's one of the most powerful people in government. What a stupid fucking repsonse. Why do politicians think they can be edgelord comedians?

the vetting system is clearly not designed to vet people, but instead to insure that the people the government don't want vetted, aren't.

wild that Starmer thew Robbins under a bus despite it not even being Robbins who made the decisions around the vetting process, Robbins was brought in after the vetting process was initiated and it took place largely independent of his office.

Starmer can't even get the right people to blame!

Starmer is effectively asking the country to believe he didn’t know about Mandelson when everybody else did know.

Anyone with the slightest interest in politics knew so unforgivable or unbelievable that Starmer didn’t. Take your pick.

Unbelievably, Keir Starmer can now be compared to Boris Johnson The Prime Minister was once a man with a reputation for integrity and decency

It is preposterous and honestly rather shameful for Starmer to act so upset over the Mandelson affair. He is basically attacking Robbins for doing precisely what he wanted him to do inews.co.uk/opinion/unbe...

no, your favourite is not the exception to the rule when it comes to giving abuse victims the benefit of the doubt.

the fact you think they are rather suggests you've missed the point entirely.

abuse is such a heinous crime that the default should be to listen to what victims have to say.

Keir Starmer is a man without any integrity.

He throws other people under buses for no other reason than to save his own skin.

He's not fit to be prime minister - and those who spent years presenting him as a decent man need to have a hard look at themselves.

England fans facing hugely inflated prices to get to New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for World Cup games The cost of getting the train from New York to the venue, where the Three Lions play Panama in their final group game, will be £111 - nearly 12 times the usual fare.

news.sky.com/story/englan... - I mean, you'd think England fans would be used to extortionate rail fares given that's what we have here anyway, nice of the USA to make them feel at home I guess.

Fatal flaw: Keir Starmer’s leadership vacuum threatens to swallow him up The PM’s current and former colleagues say the Mandelson scandal has exposed the hollowness of his hands-off style.

"'Lots of people think Keir Starmer is a good man who is out of his depth,' said one Labour insider. 'Wrong. He’s an asshole who’s out of his depth.'"

100% they make a mockery of the entire institution tbh, nobody needs to hear a backbench MP telling the PM their farts smell of roses.

Starmer lied to the public about Gorton & Denton and he's now lying to the public about his propensity to lie to the public.

1 day ago 199 53 11 3

His nicknames were "the Prince of Darkness" and "the Dark Lord".

He was repeatedly sacked from government for lying.

His connections to Epstein and Russia were widely reported for years.

Yet Starmer still trying to claim he was somehow kept in the dark about Mandelson being a wrongun. Come on

The PM says it is "unforgivable" that he was not informed about Mandelson failing vetting.

It is Starmer's clear lack of judgement and disregard for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein which is unforgivable. The PM must take responsibility and resign.

Zarah Sultana has just been kicked out of the commons for calling Starmer a barefaced liar.

Zarah is spot on. Keir Starmer is a barefaced liar. We all know it.

And as for Lindsay Hoyle. I'm old enough to remember what a corrupt speaker he is.
