I feel like there is this pressure in activist circles to constantly be "on" - like if you're not in the process of physically engaging in struggle, you're not doing anything.

That’s what I mean. People seem so willing to not see him as a villain because there is a much worse villain in charge now.
Same thing happens with Biden, who was way worse than Obama. But people seem to forget what he did.
But nothing Biden did makes Obama a better person either.
Right? It just frustrated me when Obama is treated as perfect. He was an American president! American presidents have a tendency to murder civilians! They’re one of the worlds worst type of people.

Why can’t people just have consistent morals? Condemn this shit no matter who does it.

Am I wrong for this: Whenever Obama gets brought up, especially when it’s in comparison to orange guy, I keep in mind that Obama bombed civilians with drones. He might be a less evil president over all, but why the fuck should we ever reduce human life into statistics like that?
