If you were a medical professional, it wouldn’t be your right to discriminate against patients because of their religion. It’s literally in our professional code of conduct. If this GP genuinely couldn’t understand the lady (and I bet he could), there could have been another way to communicate.

This is the only social media site I use, as I don’t want to grow Meta any further, but it seems to me that Bluesky algorithms create even more loneliness for users. Either that or (more likely) I have literally nothing interesting to say.

I’ve never been one of the in-crowd, or a fun or interesting person, but honestly, sometimes social media is more lonely than real life. I’m not sure why I do this. Maybe it’s time to stop. It’s not helping.
