I was in UDems with him in college on the leadership committee and my sense of him is that while he’s always been ambitious, he is also a fundamentally decent person. Also a tremendous organizer. He led a big push with UDems and UT Austin’s student gov to freeze tuition in TX and was successful.

Cool, all while the strait of Hormuz is causing fossil fuel prices to skyrocket. It’s time to treat fossil fuel companies like the threat to national and global security that they are.

Man, I bet the Iranian dissidents are just lining up to fight for the US after seeing stuff like this.

MAGA people are fundamentally selfish, so it’s not a surprise that their accusations are all confessions. They cannot put themselves in a headspace to imagine that their adversaries would do anything different to them from what they would do to their adversaries.

Jeffrey Epstein International Airport.

The billionaires who live there and hobnobbed with him and Epstein deserve to be smeared with that name.

Protection officers at an assassination attempt diving in front of him in extra slow motion.

I hope so, sat next to him in a history class at UT Austin when we were both there and he’s a good guy.

If not friend, why friend shaped?

I wouldn’t go that far. I get the point in saying that leftists shouldn’t pin their hopes on someone like AOC to save them, as she is ultimately compromised by this system and would be a disappointment. But even someone just not outright pushing for constant misery like Vance would be better.

Surprising that it’s that low of a percentage of republicans tbh.

Cool, and how many people from Idaho are actually registered voters who actually turned out? And how many potential voters were kept from voting due to GOP suppression efforts? Or from being too busy with jobs and family to go vote??

File this under shit Republicans say about Democrats that would be awesome if they were true. It would be great if a lot of congressional Democrats had half the spine they’re being accused of having. Instead they call for “more training” for ICE agents instead of abolition.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they are Tejano. Some Tejanos are virulently anti-immigrant and quick to point out that the border crossed them. It’s still extremely stupid to think the admin will stop at just immigrants and not Hispanics in general.

I'm instantly blinded by the atomic flash, my shadow burned into the ground forever by the gamma radiation. My skin and bones vapourised by the nuclear explosion as I scream "He's only doing this to distract from the Epstein files".

CBP has been staffed by violent chuds for decades. CBP makes ICE look like social workers. Abolish ICE and CBP.

Not a surprise when you consider that the mainstream media is controlled by right wing billionaires directly or indirectly through corporations that they own. The industrialists in interwar Germany all sided with the Nazis too.

Archive.today: FBI Demands Data from Provider Tucows The mysterious website Archive.today is coming under the FBI's crosshairs. A court order is forcing the provider Tucows to hand over user data.

www.heise.de/en/news/Arch... so here is my tinfoil take: paywalls exist not so much as a revenue generating tool but as a way of keeping information out of the hands of the masses yet still accessible to the wealthy. Being able to bypass paywalls threatens that model.

Seems like recording ICE would be the only good use for these, but we all know it will just be perverts

The AI disclosure reminded me of Jump Space, the void crew like game with more fps elements and polish that came out onto early access recently. It had an AI note indicating that it uses some AI voiceovers as a placeholder until it gets real voice actors in to voice all lines.

The generals said "sir are you sure you want to fly the diarrhea bomber over the AI city with the nonsense billboards" and I said [zesty] we've got to shit the hell out of 'em. And no one has more loose stool than me. And actually that was very smart. Making myself the diarrhea president was smart.

Which is 100% why the right wing is pressuring AI companies to make their models less “woke”. They also are pressuring Wikipedia too.
