I’m new to gaming and need some recs for the Switch. I’ve played (and loved) Wylde Flowers and Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Played Fran Bow & love puzzle/world exploration games but a little less gore 😅
Liked Strange Horticulture too! Can’t get into Stray or Little Nightmares 2.
Thoughts? #Gaming
This. It’s what I couldn’t stop thinking about last night. It feels very dystopian, and makes me wonder, if we get it back will it really be the same or is the shift into a propaganda tool like everything else owned by billionaires unstoppable?
Well, IG just changed their feed size ratio so everyone’s carefully curated profile is fucked. Words cut off, photos not centered. For a visual medium this is huge. My profile isn’t art beautiful & I’m annoyed, if I’d truly spent time making it perfect I’d lose my shit.
Anyways, Zuck sucks.
Oh gosh I just posted something similar. None of the worries, all the joy. It’s SO GOOD.
When you’ve been in the publishing trenches w/ someone for YEARS & they get exciting news, it’s the best feeling in the world.
You don’t experience any of the nerves or decision making that comes with big news, you just get to feel pure unadulterated joy.
Today is a good day 🥹
When I'm on deadline I work best early morning, before the family wakes up and *NEEDS ALL THE THINGS*
After about two weeks of painful 5 a.m. alarms, my body has adapted and now for the past two mornings I've woken up without an alarm at 4:30 a.m.
I'm not pleased. I want those extra 30 minutes 😭
Manifesting things for 2025:
📚I’ll participate in an anthology.
📚I’ll write for Choose Your Own Adventure.
📚I’ll get my next agent.
📚I’ll sell my next book.
What are you working toward this year?
I grew up with a very negative mother so when I feel myself sliding toward pessimism I make a conscious effort to course correct. Find the good.
But man, 2025 is trying me 😒
The first holiday after my dad passed, a cardinal stopped by the bird feeder he’d bought me. It was the first time I’d seen a cardinal in our yard & happened right after we’d cried about missing him. ❤️
Anyways, male cardinals make me smile every time I see them bc it feels like Dad checking in.
That cover is so good! I love the flower eyes.
This is so true! My kids are teens now and I was thrilled for our snow day bc it meant more lazy hang time with them both.
🤗🤗🤗
Thank you!!
So painful 😭
My body is having a rather unorthodox response to dry January. Instead of more energy, better sleep, and glowing skin like a normal human, I’ve erupted a giant stye and my eye is nearly swollen shut.
This is some horseshit 😤
Thank you so much! Years in the making 🥹
Debuting in 2026? Or just interested in following folks in the writing community who are marching toward their debuts? Here’s a great starter pack!

A black and white photo of a train has a book sale announcement from Children’s Bookshelf on it. The beginning of the announcement reads: Wendy Loggia at Delacorte Press has acquired Veiled in Shadow by Liz Edelbrock, a YA debut romantasy pitched as Caraval with a dash of Murder on the Orient Express.
I can officially say my debut YA romantasy with Delacorte will come out NEXT YEAR 🎉

Kerry! I’m so sorry. This shouldn’t happen. I hope you have a follow-up appointment somewhere that knows what they’re doing so you can get answers 😔
Booked a writing getaway for the end of Jan to help me meet some big deadlines.
Just realized the last Fourth Wing drops the day before. Not sure if it’s smarter to bring the book as a reward if I meet my goals or leave it at home so I’m not tempted to read instead of write 😅
