I had such a great time tabling at my first Milwaukee Zine Fest! Such a beautiful building and so much to see and do! Thank you Milwaukee Public Library for hosting such a great event

There is none. Down in the ground in a broken sewer system where the two main characters live, the music is the sound of electricity and generators and dripping of water and their own conversations. It's kinda eerie....

I am very moved and touched by everyone's encouraging comments. It IS a business but I can educate myself. Self publishing is an option too. I'm in the middle of edits rn but I won't give up.

It seems increasingly luck based; just to have your MS read feels like a daunting task. And then there's querying which involves marketing ones self in a way I've never done before. And then even if you get that far, contacts can straight up take advantage of you. It feels intimidating tbh.
I'm absolutely terrified to seek out trad publishing. It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid but there's so much wrong with it, so many stories, so many different expectations. So much luck involved,.so much hard work.
But as I get older, I gotta at least try.
