Definitely the biggest double edged sword of breaching containment is that artistic intent and interpretation are so vastly different. The fact it can also change over time means that the work is getting constantly re-evaluated based on cultural trends. Sometimes that's good, others... yeah...

I def don't think any of my releases under the old strategy were bad per-se, but I couldn't work on a fucking like prog/metal/electronic album like this just cause its taken so much time to tune and refine. It's been fun to push out of my wheelhouse a bit!
