I don’t even remember to go back to look at any of it 🫠

It felt slightly better today, but yesterday was a nightmare. Zero crowd control anywhere. They didn’t even scan my ticket when I walked in, and the publishing houses were really disorganized. No two staffers gave you the same answer. Just chaos for no reason.
I bought so much tea too! They all just smelled so good I couldn’t resist.
The manga panel was so good today! Very happy to go home with so many recommendations
Home from BookCon, and finally in bed in my pjs at 6:42 pm. Yes, of course with a book!
Matt Dinniman is a doll.
I also went to a High Fantasy panel, which was incredible. Day 2 was so much better compared to yesterday lol
“Lines will not start until 15 minutes before signing” well good thing I showed up 20 minutes early to find a very long line
Idk how but I got in just at 10…still too late for any arc drops but I got my free la croix 📚💙 #bookcon
Omg they listened!!!! We are queued up inside, still slightly chaotic, but they actually scanned my ticket today? That’s something!
The Dunkin iced coffee is really hitting today I’m happy to report
BookCon, I am so ready for day 2! 💙📚
My schedule for today:
11am: Manga Matchmaker with Yen Press
2:00pm: Dynamic Duos
3:45pm: Matt Dinniman book signing
All that being said, it would be so cool if BookCon can get a better handle on the queueing situation to get in since it will be down pouring tomorrow 🙃 #bookcon
We just finished the Plot Twist podcast, and we are waiting for Book Bingo!!!
I also got to meet Delilah S. Dawson, which was the highlight of my day.
I did get to see Chloe Gong and Tahereh Mafi for the Dystopian panel, but I left early to catch the YA/NA panel. After that, the whole place was as a lot more easy to manage and I did get some cool stuff in indie alley!
And yes I did hide in a corner reading Dungeon Crawler Carl because the crowds were too much 😅
After the first panel I tried to explore indie alley. It was scary. So many people. I went to the publishers. Also SO MANY people but so much less organized. I got a free lacroix though #bookcon
A board with the BookCon panel schedule for this room
First panel of the day is Classic Retellings #bookcon
ITS TIMEEEEEEE!
BookCon day 1! 📚💙
If there is anything I will not accept criticism on, it is this Scrubs reboot. I’m loving every single second.
Does anyone know how I get my PC to stop hijacking my Bluetooth headphones each time I turn it on? It’s such a minor inconvenience, but it sends me into a tailspin every time whatever I’m listening to is abruptly cut off for no reason.
What does it say that 2x speed is starting to feel slow to me? My brain needs to get it together
We’re in the process of buying a co-op unit, and my head is absolutely spinning. There is quite literally a fee for everything.
Application? Fee.
Dog? Fee. Plus annual fee.
Bank questionnaire required for the mortgage for the bank they wanted us to use? Fee.

This is my favorite past time
President Donald Trump's administration has admitted to a major error in data used to justify a federal fraud probe into New York’s Medicaid program.
Fox News needs to take my mayor’s name out of their goddamn mouth. I don’t think a singly NYer expected free buses in the first year. That wasn’t the promise.
Maybe focus on your guy who promised to lower grocery prices on day one and that he wouldn’t start any new wars. Then let’s talk.
I don’t know who I am this week? I was awake on time. I even made the early bus without trying.
I completely forgot Pam Bondi existed.
My personal time has been consumed with preparing for a move we aren’t even sure is happening (waiting for board approval), and today is no different.
Today, I’m listening to The Mad Wife by Meagan Church while I clean out our back pantry that has seen MUCH better days.
