: Jeffries and Schumer must be on the list or something similar, because they're about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.

: Well, when you already have Israel bombing you and having stated they're going after your entire nuclear program *and* their geopolitical bestie is rattling its sword, then only a moron would leave all their enriched uranium in the same place they've been keeping it. It's like getting out of...
: Word is they'd already gotten most or all of the nuke material out of the facilities.
: CNN is just following orders.
: Apparently you haven't seen all of them, or perhaps you were mining for outrage. If you are doing the latter, there's plenty about to mine.
: My congressional electeds are scumfucks.
Thom Tillis and Virginia Fox
They won't do better. It'd be safer and more effective for good voting for Frank Underwood and Cruella DeVille.
: Let me show you a real honest cop.
(It's what happens, alas.)
: Awwww, man. He was such an excellent actor. I always watched whatever it was he was in, even if I wasn't into that genre of show or film. He was just that good, that versatile.
: I loved that game.
I think we just need to straight up call him a fraud. He stole credit from the people who actually did the work after he bought the companies. He was never a genius, just good at fraud. That's why there WERE a bunch of SEC investigations into him. He should be in prison now. Not govt.

Getting sporadic "as-needed" assistance is sometimes harder than getting sustained assistance.
2/3: ...by the time you do get some measure of assistance, lots more shit has gone down because you didn't already have it... so you require more than you did months before when you applied.
I don't mean loads of money assistance. I mean things like rides to appointments, $30 to $50 to help with...
1/3: It's wild when you're Disabled and need well-established and well-publicized services you have to wait weeks to eg an application, wait weeks for it to be processed, wait weeks for an appointment, and wait weeks for a decision that not infrequently is a denial, and just as not infrequently...
Not all disabled people have family or friends who can take care of them.
Charities are woefully ill equipped to provide the level of care many of us need.
Being abandoned for being sick is common, and itβs not our fault.
Disability is not & has never been a moral failing.
Just an FYI, if someone tells you they're disabled and they don't look like they are... the chances of them lying about it are way smaller than the chances of you just not understanding how hidden disabilities work. Hope that helps.
: It's hard to play by even a semblance of the book when your opponents don't use the book against you but also go well outside the bounds of the book. The Dems played the short, safe game since Clinton was elected, and the GOP/alt-white have been playing the long game since the mid-1970s.
: Some people, but not many, are actually centrists, but even so, they side against Evil when pushing comes to shoving.
There are very, very few of those. I only point this out because I don't often go for "If some, then all". That said, you're generally correct in your assessment.
: He means, "Nothing. We're not going to do anything. We don't have the cards," and unlike Zelensky, he really doesn't have the cards, which is extra horrible since his primary opponent, Dementia Don, isn't playing with a full deck.
: It would be kinda cool if he wound up in Bethesda for that.
