I have a new remix up for release this week. "Too Early" by Sorrow Stories releases Friday, April 3rd. It's listed as the Bow Ever Down mix because the categories are made up and points don't matter. You can hear it on this week's set from Colin Spencer! www.mixcloud.com/ColinSpencer...

Early Cabaret Voltaire performance, by Pete Hill
Today, 13 May 2025, is the 50th anniversary of the first performance by #CabaretVoltaire. This will be commemorated in October by a live collaboration by founding members Chris Watson and Stephen Mallinder as Cabaret Voltaire Redux

A tortie cat, sitting on a bunched up hoodie that's on top of an exercise bike. She's staring at the camera with a blank expression of contempt.
Was working on a new song last night. Matilda wanted to sit in my lap, but she insisted on 'helping' with keyboards. After removing her from my lap, she hopped up onto my exercise bike and spent the rest of the night judging me.
Happy to see the new Bow Ever Down EP getting the DJ spins. It's such a good EP. Kimberly poured her heart and soul into this one.
"On My Eyes", the powerful new EP from Bow Ever Down, is available now on Bandcamp. Four great new songs chronicling Kimberly's time in Kurdistan.

Album artwork from forthcoming EP, "On My Eyes", from Bow Ever Down. Image features a cartoon drawing of a woman's face with wide eyes and grin, curled fingers clutching the sides of her face.
The new Bow Ever Down EP has been mixed and mastered. Kimberly will announce the release date, but suffice it to say, it will be soon!
If true, it'll finally be time to pull all F8 content off of Spotify. Something I should have done a long time ago.
I've been behind on projects. It was nice to spend a little time fucking around.
Post a fictional character who you think would be an antivaxxer.
Hard mode: No villains
Arturia promotional ad. A musician sits on the edge of a couch cushion, playing a 49-key synth, connected to a modular synth with a bright light glowing from below. The modular synth is connected to a couple of pedals or effects. A spaghetti-like tangle of phone cables spills over the modular synth, plugging into the back of the 49-key. A laptop sits above on a small table.
Arturia: wouldn't it be cool to make music like this?
me: no, I have cats.

Bummer. I just read that Maggie Estep passed away. It was 11 years ago, so not recent in the least. For me, this is the best thing that came from a member of Depeche Mode, post-Songs of Routine and Promotion.
Ultimately, Don's greatest political innovation has been to demonstrate that you don't need to give the people bread if you can make the circus big enough.
Figures of the Hansen brothers from the movie Slap Shot, beating the crap out of a prone elf on the shelf.
Merry whatever! ACAB! Especially elven narcs.
Congratulations. I believe you have a cat.
Maybe Anaheim will change their name to the Syracuse Bulldogs.
Longtime Fiction8 guitarist, David DeVoe, has a new song out for BC Friday. It's a Joy Division cover and done in his style that's closer (heh) to Jesus & Mary Chain. I love how this one turned out.

Our sister project, Bow Ever Down, has a great new release out. It's a bit different and not the sort of thing you'll hear at the clubs. A voice, a piano, and very little else. Kimberly has an incredible voice. boweverdown.bandcamp.com/album/unveiled
