If you want to make art then put effort in it, practice over and over just like every artist out there. And that's only speaking about the moral side of it because we are just wasting water and killing our planet by using AI

Using AI to have fun for five minutes with a stupid filter is dismissing these people's efforts.

AI "art" is nothing special, it's taking every artist's works and turning them into something insignificant and ugly af, it's missing a soul.

There's so many things wrong about it but I think that we are focusing too much on what Hayao Miyazaki thinks, we are forgetting that making these movies is not a one man job, there's a lot of people behind these works, people that have put a lot of effort in them.

I can't seem to stop thinking about all of the people making "art" with AI and it makes me really mad as someone who dreams of living off my art one day, it is scary.

I've thought about this a long time, but especially now with the whole thing of chatgpt and the ghibli style filter.
