A motley gaggle of adventurers enlist private investigator Sam Spade (Humphrey Bogart) to help locate a missing jewel encrusted statue, the "dingus," as Spade calls it, in "The Maltese Falcon" (1941). The search is an exercise in futility. The film itself? Exhilarating. #filmnoir

Nice Savoy you have there. Shame if somefing were to... devastate it...
The butterflies are nice.
Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
If they can get past the pearly gates, I can go fucking mental in my later years with no worries.
