Sorry for disappearing from the face of the internet for a bit. I've been making some good progress on developing my Big Unannounced Game, which unfortunately meant I had to pause working on art I can actually share. And also I didn't really like any of my recent WIPs haha.

Even more art tests. This one is for the point-and-click game idea I keep meaning to flesh out a bit. Played around with baked lighting this time. These are 3D, in-engine and almost entirely procedurally textured. Didn't have to lay down a single brushstroke. Kind of excited about this workflow.

The colors add a lot to your art, so I respectfully disagree. Limited palettes are fun though! In my experience the trick with them is to pick one that sucks absolute ass. It forces you to pick colors you wouldn't even pick drunk, but it gets the creativity going!

Test character for a thing. I've never been able to crack the code on crunchy pixelated textures, they never look quite like I want them to. Even with the amazing Pixel8r tool that basically does all the work for me. PSX devs make it look so easy!
