Seems like these people believe AI will take over the world because LLMs *are* significantly more intelligent than anything they can comprehend.

the numbers are real, but so are the other numbers that all the people saying "the numbers are real" are ignoring
those also have transaction fees? I think this is a use case for account credit
Instead of charging 5c every time you read an article, let me buy credit in 1usd increments, and then charge my account 5c in credit for every article...
I've yet to receive a package that got here via one of the freighters that fly over my house at night, that'd be insane
Getting a notification "package arrived at facility", opening up flightradar and finding the exact flight it was on -- God I love "watching" logistics happen when I'm up in the middle of the night.
It had the audacity to put up a red banner telling me to check MY internet connection lol
When it was still a thing, I hated micro USB because it's a shit connector
Now that it's mostly gone, I hate micro USB because whenever I run into the odd device that still uses it, I have to go digging through 5 boxes of electronics to find the one working micro USB cable I own
Well there's six wires, and iirc SPI needs four, so the two extra wires are probably what's powering it.
*putting tractor tires on my hatchback*
Instead of gendered bathrooms you get a bathroom bathroom and a sex bathroom. Pretty solid improvement :p
Tho the really interesting thing would be which of those is gonna be worse to clean.
HELLL YEAHHH!!
Graph of gasoline and diesel prices development in germany, weekly since december 2025, from an ADAC article about prices skyrocketing due to the US's Iran war. Prices dipped slightly in december (Diesel ca. 1.59€/l, Gasoline ca. 1.64€/l), then increased by about 0.10€/l at the start of January. The most recent data points show prices jumping up to 1.917€/l for Diesel and 1.897€/l for Gasoline.
Holy Fuck, good thing it's exam season and I only have to drive to Uni like 5 times this month.

idk what compelled me to make this
"It should be forbidden because it's illegal"-ass argument.
You can think something is immoral and should be illegal, even if it isn't currently. That's, like, the entire point of politics???
No. The second they're allowed again, they'll use their wealth to buy influence and gut that welfare state for personal gain.
It's like forgetting what got us into this mess in the first place, *before we got out of this current one.*
Parents can already do that tho. If you put at least some effort into it, you can set up pretty good parental controls. You just gotta want it.
This is more of a parenting issue than a tech issue imo
One of those "you're not stuck in traffic, you are the traffic" shirts but for "noise"...
Same for vehicle defects. There's gotta be a way to tell other drivers that they have a taillight out that isn't wildly flashing your high beams at them.
But just giving everyone a radio would probably turn all frequencies into a road rage cesspool.
I feel like there has to be a low stakes way to correct typos. Because some typos really do make the work harder to parse and understand, but going "*you're" both makes you look like an ass and embarasses the person you're replying to.
Idk how but I'd love if something like that existed.
Because not every collision that cuts a wire somewhere mangles the car so much that the doors are completely jammed?
Just make sure each ambulance and fire truck has at least one POC crew member at all times, that way the flock surveillance cameras will automatically dispatch ICE to any accident site!
You mean to say that the pull being there, even hidden behind the entire fucking door panel, counts as having an emergency release?
Because in that case I'd love to see you take off the door panel while the door is closed and the car is on fire.
Tbf the no soul computer on wheels thing is true, because that's just all new cars.
There's just no old EVs from when CAN-Bus was a hot new invention, so stupid people go "Petrol is when no computer"
As someone who kinda lost interest in cars because all the other people into cars around me were weird chuds, I love it :3
Also is the first episode file supposed to be 1.3GB?
I personally know 4 for 18V:
Bosch Pro (AMPShare), Bosch Home, Einhell (Power X-Change), and Makita.
With some light googling, I also found: Hilti, Milwaukee, Festool, Metabo (CAS), and Dewalt, all with their own version of the same thing.
And with that standard, you could mandate all bigger battery tools use them, so you could easily swap them between all those devices. Bosch lawnmower battery ran out and you don't wanna wait for it to charge? Just get the battery off your Makita power drill and continue...
I'd love if we could get a standard interface for power tool batteries.
They're all just 12V or 18V battery packs, only the plastic housing shape makes it so you can't put a Makita battery in a Bosch tool (or a Bosch battery in a Bosch tool lol)
Picture of a pop-up window of a unicode symbol selector, over an empty text editor. "hammer" has been typed into the search bar, and the first page of results shows the "hammer and sickle" symbol, as well as the "hammer and pick" symbol and three chinese symbols.
Wait that's in unicode? I'm gonna have so much more fun with my little unicode shortcut thingy ☭☭☭☭☭
The issue is the institution of law enforcement itself breeds shit like this.
In theory they should do all those things, but they still often don't, and they're never held accountable.
And you gotta ask: If a rule/law isn't enforced, does it even meaningfully exist?
I *love* old electrical work that's been modified 100 times since the house was built.
Something simple like switching out an outlet will take 10x as long as it should because you first need to fix 10 other things before you can even start.
