I would imagine that Pope Leo feels even more pressure, as a Pope from the US, to speak up. Good for him!

My mom was a Christian. I remember her asking me in 2015 why I was so concerned about Trump. She passed in 2017 but this post/image would have been the perfect thing to show her because she would have immediately been appalled. Shocked and appalled.

Horrible. And major kudos to her for speaking out!! This is the kind of thing that continues to harm the previously strong bond between Canada and the US.

All the more reason to like and respect Pope Leo. ✔️
