There are so many good indie/small studio games out there, more should stay their course and not sell.

I get it. Those 7-8 figure buyouts are insane.

But all it does is encourage the "you have a price" mentality and make it so you're more of a number than a creator/developer/designer/etc.

Jeez, what happened in 2024? Why was there such a huge spike, did something close down and I just can't remember it?
