Even a win for Fakenham may still see them lose Championship if Brantham win by 3/4 more! Madness!!

A Fa Vase semi final 1st leg between AFC Whyteleafe v Andover New Street.
It’s a sell out (2000) and sure to be a great occasion.

Was not expecting such a smart set up. Park inside the ground too. Means I can change coats if need be!

A rare dip into step 7 for Beccles Town v Easton in the Anglian Combination Prem.
Must say that I’m very impressed with the ground. All for £4 which includes a Barnes Print prog! Brilliant stuff!!

My 3rd visit to Harleston Town v Long Melford in the Eastern Counties Prem Div.
The ground has massively improved since my 1st visit 6 1/2 years ago.
Although not much riding on the match (17th v 19th), still looking forward to it

Decided to take advantage of a £7 ticket for Wimbledon Women v Ipswich Women in the National Women’s Southern Prem
A neat ground. Although a bit sad that it’s on the site of the former greyhound track where I frequented in the 80s/90s

Gone to Andover New Street v Heanor Town in the Vase 1/4 final. 30 mins to ko and filling up nicely.
A neat step 5 set up, but out of town and the footpath runs out!
Saw Heanor in the last round and was very impressed.

Fortunately I’m at March Town for the rearranged Hinchingbrooke Semi Final against the Snots!
I may not support the other Saints anymore, but still can’t warm to the away team!

Driven to Derbyshire for a FA Vase 5th round tie at Heanor Town v Crook Town. As always, hoping it’ll be cracker.
An intriguing 3 sided ground in town. Definitely has a charm about it.

Returned to the fabulous Walsham-Le-Willows in the middle of Suffolk for a tasty looking Vase 4R tie v Whitstable Town.
It’s a wonderful setting even in winter. Thoroughly recommended.

Got a cheapish train ticket to Newcastle and with the Vase game at North Shields called off, I’ve made my way to the Stadium of Light for Sunderland v Stoke in the FA Cup. £20 ticket, decent.
Not used to a ground this size!

Was always staying local today, however my main choices fell foul of the weather.
To rescue came March Town United v Lutterworth Town in the UCL Prem South.
Their pitch always looks good when all other games are falling around them.

Kept it local again and hopped over the border for an all Suffolk encounter with Newmarket Town v Felixstowe & Walton United.
I wouldn’t call it a Suffolk derby though as they are about as far apart as you can get within the county.

Made the short walk from my in-laws to the Unwin ground for an 11am ko which is sure to be a keenly contested derby between Ely City and Soham Town Rangers in the Eastern Counties Prem.
Sadly no doable (or one I want) double for me though.

Decided to stay local and enticed to Histon by the 2pm ko v Bugbrooke St Michaels in the UCL Prem south.
Bridge Road is a massive white elephant as at one point they were gearing up for the EFL. However they are now back at step 5 with 100 people rattling in the ground!
